- Individuals who are seeking personal growth, re-discovering their inner-self-worth & inner-confidence', understanding attachment patterns with important others, exploration of strategies around managing conflicting emotions around a suspected diagnosis/missed out on receiving a diagnosis. Denise provides you a safe space to explore daily challenges and life hardships at your own pace. -

- Denise has experience working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) space. Her role consisted of meeting with new and returning families who seek access the NDIS, updating funding in a NDIS plan, working through the emotional ups and downs when access the NDIS, or when funding has been declined, decreased or depleted due to waitlists and more. Denise wishes to continue supporting both NDIS and Non-NDIS participants and their caregivers through a counselling lens. Denise relates to the importance of feeling emotionally heard and supported when navigating the NDIS, facing endless appointments with multiple professionals and recognises the importance of rekindling a positive rapport with yourself, that goes beyond your disability identity.

- Denise is a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator who is qualified to facilitate COSP workshops with like-minded community members and individuals. Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) is an attachment-based program developed to support individuals to reflect upon the relationship they have with themselves that has developed through past relationships and how how Not only does an attachment develop between child and caregiver, but also with our pets, colleagues, friends, and community members.​

Connect Counselling WA is aware of the importance of taking care of your own health & wellbeing. Life can be turbulent and unexpected. 1 to 1 individual counselling sessions for individuals who seek a safe place to feel confident in exploring a range of different concerns that are important them. Connect Counselling WA provides counselling services within a person-centered approach, applies different therapy frameworks to each individual's therapy preference and adapts therapy styles that feel most appropriate 'in-the-moment' when working through challenging scenarios. Connect Counselling WA is an LGBTIQ+ ally, trauma informed, person-led sessions and will remain an anchor for you if you wish to seek additional supports and services.

Connect Counselling WA works alongside NDIS participants-families, individuals who suspected a diagnosis, managing the disappointment of not meeting NDIS access or missed out on receiving an official diagnosis. Life can feel emotionally demanding when juggling multiple appointments with your professional team. Connect Counselling WA provides individuals skills building opportunities, navigating the stressor around waitlists, interpreting diagnostic reports therapist recommendations, funding & assessments results. Connect Counselling WA is passionate about being an ally along your journey to feel confident in taking on each day, regardless of the barriers you may be facing.

Connect Counselling WA is a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator, who is passionate about understanding important relationship attachments from past and current relationships. From infancy, we have already developed attachment rapport with our caregiver by the time we are 11 months old. Our brains are wired to be adaptive and reflective of how we interact with others. Connect Counselling WA offers 8-week COSP attachment workshops and 1 to 1 reflective counselling in recognising how we engage with others, and the type of relationship attachment styles we have with others. Reflection is an opportunity for new growth in our connections with others.
