- Individuals who are seeking personal growth, re-discovering their inner-self-worth & inner-confidence', understanding attachment patterns with important others, exploration of strategies around managing conflicting emotions around a suspected diagnosis/missed out on receiving a diagnosis. Denise provides you a safe space to explore daily challenges and life hardships at your own pace. -

- I have experience working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) space. Her role included meeting new and returning NDIS families, allocating & updating funding in a NDIS plan, supporting the emotional ups and downs along your NDIS journey and more. I made the decision to continue supporting NDIS and Non-NDIS participants and their caregivers through a counselling lens. I hold an understanding of what it is like to feel unheard, facing endless appointments and having to juggle multiple appointments relating to your disability needs. It is important for individuals and families to feel heard and to develop an important sense of self, that goes beyond your disability identity.

- Did You Know? It is our children who are our teachers in how to develop healthy relationships with us, their parents and caregivers?
I am a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator who runs COSP workshops for parents, caregivers, extended family members. Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) is an attachment-based program that is designed to strengthen important relationships between children child their caregivers. Children and animals lead the way. Circle of Security is about leaving our *shark music* triggers in the past and move forward with making a positive future for our children and future generations.

Connect Counselling WA is a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator, who is passionate about understanding important relationship attachments from past and current relationships. From infancy, we have already developed attachment rapport with our caregiver by the time we are 11 months old. Our brains are wired to be adaptive and reflective of how we interact with others. Connect Counselling WA offers 8-week COSP attachment workshops and 1 to 1 reflective counselling in recognising how we engage with others, and the type of relationship attachment styles we have with others. Reflection is an opportunity for new growth in our connections with others.
